Downtown Disney (soon to become “Disney Springs”)

Downtown Disney area features more than 70 shopping, entertainment and dining choices. Nestled along the shores of Village Lake, Downtown Disney area is a short boat ride, bus ride or walk along a scenic lakeside path away from Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort and Spa in Walt Disney World Resort.

Divided into 3 sections—Downtown Disney West Side, Downtown Disney Marketplace and Pleasure Island—Downtown Disney area is an ever-changing destination committed to keeping the experiences exciting and new.

Downtown Disney West Side

Downtown Disney West Side showcases top-notch restaurants, a 24-screen AMC Pleasure Island movie theater, and other uncommon shops. Here you’ll also find the exquisite Cirque du Soleil La Nouba live entertainment show and the Disney Quest Indoor Interactive theme park.

Downtown Disney Marketplace

Downtown Disney Marketplace provides an appealing place to take a break from Disney Theme Parks and Water Parks—especially if you’re in search of Disney merchandise. Check out the largest Disney character store in the world. Or, for more of a respite, relax and dine at a lakeside restaurant.

Pleasure Island

As of September 28, 2008, all the nightclubs on Pleasure Island—8 Trax, The Adventurer’s Club, Mannequins Dance Palace, BET Sound-Stage Club, Motion and The Comedy Warehouse—were closed. You’ll be able to enjoy a brand new mix of shopping and dining experiences at Pleasure Island as it is transformed through 2010. Raglan Road, Fuego by Sosa Cigars, Curl by Sammy Duval, Orlando Harley-Davidson, and outdoor food and beverage locations remain open during the transition.
