Disney's Magic KingdomAlthough the Magic Kingdom is the second smallest Disney World theme park, it is by no means the least bit disappointing. It has more things to see and do than the other parks so you won't get bored, just tired trying to do it all. The Magic Kingdom is divided into five distinct areas (lands), arranged in a spoke-like formation, around the crown jewel of the Magic Kingdom - Cinderella's Castle. The five lands consist of Tomorrowland, Fantasyland, Frontierland, Liberty Square and Adventureland. Each land is themed to its appropriate title and maintaining that theme is important to the parks operation. On Main Street USA you'll step back in time to a by-gone ara of quaint shops themed in a victorian style. Small children (and the big kids also) will enjoy Mickey's Toon Town with characters and thrills right out of the cartoons you enjoyed growing up with. It's very interesting to see how the various areas of the Magic Kingdom seem to just flow seemlessly into each other and you never even notice a transition. The Magic Kingdom Railroad circles the park with 3 stops along the way, one at Frontierland, another at Mickey's Toon Town and then back to Main Street USA station. It's a great way to get around the park. To the left are some pictures from our visits to the Magic Kingdom. Below is a map of the Magic Kingdom highlighting some of the attractions.
